ITQAAN — إتقان — means mastery, perfection, the pursuit of excellence in every detail. Founded in London, we set out with a simple vision: to transform the humble Medjool date into an object of desire, a luxury confection that rivals the finest chocolates and patisserie in the world.

For thousands of years, the Medjool date has been revered across the Middle East as nature's perfect sweetness — a fruit of kings, a symbol of generosity and hospitality. We honour that legacy while reimagining it for the modern palate.

The Craft

Each ITQAAN date is handcrafted with meticulous care. We source only the finest Medjool dates — plump, naturally sweet, with a rich caramel depth. The pit is carefully removed and replaced with a generous filling of premium nuts: whole pistachios from Sicily, golden almonds, buttery walnuts.

Our chocolate-coated collection takes this further. Premium Belgian dark chocolate is tempered to a perfect gloss, then each date is hand-dipped and adorned with crushed pistachios, edible gold leaf, cocoa nibs, or a delicate drizzle of white chocolate.
